Earring Project
Here are the latest pair of earrings we are making in the Jewelry Workshop at Hobby Lobby and The Lily Pond Art Gallery. They are sterling silver, approx. 3/4" in diameter & you have a nice selection of Natural Gemstone beads to chose from; Iolite (shown), Amethyst, Smokey Quartz, etc... I also have some vintage crystal &/or glass beads... :> The class for Oct. 5th has been cancelled, as only one person had signed up, and I'm still very hoarse and coughing. We'll reschedule the Hobby Lobby class for the evening of Oct 12. We are still on for the Oct. 8th class at the Lily Pond on Thursday afternoon from 1 - 2:30...hope you can make one of those classes!

New Jewelry Making Workshops/Classes
I'm starting up this blog to inform anyone in my area about the workshops I'm holding at Hobby Lobby in Gardendale and the Lily Pond Art Gallery in Jasper. I will post all classes here and what the projects are, with pictures. It will also be a great tool to use to talk 'shop' with anyone out there working with similar metals and a place where I hope we can swap ideas, tips, etc...
So, this is the first post, and here are the workshops available at this time:
Autumn Leaves Jewelry Workshop
A 'Take What You Make' Jewelry Design Workshop!
Learn how to make your own Sterling Silver or Copper Leaf pendant. You will take a flat piece of sheet metal and form it to make a beautiful 3 dimensional Autumn Leaf pendant! I have several examples you can view and pick your design! The cost includ...es your metals, tools, optional embellishments, and hands on instruction. I promise that you will be well pleased with the one of a kind piece of wearable art that you will be taking home with you. This is two hours of fun ~ bring your friends and make a party of it! (If you bring a buddy, you'll receive 10% off of your class fee). Parties are encouraged ~ call or email for reservations!
